Elegant, textured, and charming. The 2020 Pipa White is a classic representation of Portuguese white wine. Fermented in stainless steel and aged in French oak for four months, the wine is serious enough for real foods but perfectly enjoyable on its own. Hand battonage, the process of stirring the lees in-barrel, uniquely influences the evolving texture and profile of the wine, highlighting a depth of mineral and fruit, clean-citrus, melon, and stone.
In the creation of this offering, we are honored to have worked in close contact with legendary Portuguese winemaker Luis Duarte. Luis has been at the heart and soul of the Alentejo region for more than 30 years and his expertise has accelerated our quest to become one of the most respected producers in Portugal.
